IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2024 Prelims and Mains
IBPS is well known for conducting online examination for its written examination prelim and mains. The allotment terms and aggregate time to finish the examination is 1-hour for prelim examination. This examination concludes three segments with an aggregate of 100 questions and maximum marks scored by a student are of 100.
- English language – it consists of 30 questions which are for 30 marks and to do that candidate get 20 min. Of time.
- Quantitative aptitude – it consists of 35 questions which are for 35 marks and to do that candidate get 20 min. Of time.
- Reasoning Ability – it consists of 30 questions which are for 30 marks and to do that candidate get 20 min. Of time.

In this examination, candidates will also be judged don the basis of negative marking. Which will be one-fourth of the mark. One question right answer gives 1 mark to the candidate and on the wrong answer, they get 0.25 marks deduction.
In this examination, candidates get marks based on divided sections, and in all of them they need to make it to clear otherwise final mark will not get counted in the exams.
IBPS PO Exam Syllabus 2024
- Reasoning & Computer Aptitude – it consists of 45 questions which are for 60 marks and to do that candidate get 60 min. Of time.
- General & Economical and Banking awareness– it consists of 40 questions which are for 40 marks and to do that candidate get 35 min. Of time.
- English language – it consists of 35 questions which are for 40 marks and to do that candidate get 40 min. Of time.

Some Important Points Regarding PO Exam 2024
In this examination pattern, IBPS has made some changes which are-
- The time duration of this examination pattern got changed from 140 minutes to 180 minutes.
- The question paper will be available to the candidates in both Hindi and English language.
- Candidate need not face negative marking for unattempted questions.
- In this examination pattern, candidates will be getting 1 mark on every right answer.
- In this examination pattern, candidates will be getting 0.25 marks deduction on every wrong answer.
- The logical section and computer aptitude will collaborate which will be for 45 marks for 60 questions.
