The Staff Selection Commission works under the departments of personnel and training, govt of India. - General Intelligence and Reasoning: This section will consist of the topics such as Visual Memory, Observation, Analogies, Similarities and Differences, Spatial Visualization, Relationship Concepts, Arithmetic Number Series, Non – Verbal Series, Visual Memory, Arithmetical Reasoning and figural Classification, Coding, and Decoding, etc.
- General Knowledge and General Awareness: This section will feature the questions related to current affairs just to know about the knowledge of candidates related to the awareness about the current happenings. The questions can be asked from the History, Sports, Culture, Geography, Economic Scene, General Polity, Indian Constitution and Scientific Research Etc.
