Eligibility Criteria for SAIL Medical Officer/Specialist 2024

For the post of Medical Officer GDMO (E-1)

1. The applicant needs to have an MBBS degree from any recognized board or university which is recognized by the Medical Council of India.
2. With that applicants also need to have 1-year post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

For the post of Medical Officer Dental (E-1)-

1. The applicant needs to have a degree in BDS from a university or institute recognized by the Dental Council of India
2. With that applicants also need to have 1-year post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

For the post of Medical Officer Occupational Health (OH) (E-1)

1. The candidate needs to have an MBBS degree in India (Diploma in Industrial Health) from a university or institute recognized by MCI.
2. With that applicants also need to have 1-year post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

For the post of Medical Specialist (Biochemistry – Dental – ENT – Gynae. and Obst – Medicine – Ophthalmology – Orthopedics – Psychiatry – Radiology – Surgery)

1. The applicant needs to have a PG Degree in DNB or relevant discipline from any recognized board or university under MCI or DCI.
2. With that applicants also need to have 3-year post qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

For the post of Medical Specialist Hospital Administrator-

1. The applicant needs to have an MBBS or MBA degree in Hospital or Health Care Management from a university or institute recognized by MCI.
2. With that applicants also need to have a 3-year post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

For the post of Medical Specialist Public Health

1. Applicant must have an MD or DNB degree from any recognized board or university which is registered under MCI.
2. With that applicants also need to have a 3-year post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

For the post of Medical Specialist Plastic Surgeon (Burn Unit)-

1. The applicant needs to have a PG degree or DNB degree from any recognized institute or university recognized by MCI.
2. With that applicants also need to have a 3-year post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

For the post of Medical Specialist Blood Bank

1. The applicant needs to have an MD or DNB degree from any recognized board or university which is registered or recognized by MCI.
2. With that applicants also need to have a 3-year post-qualification experience in a recognized medical college or university.

Age Application

In this recruitment process, the SAIL candidate also needs to get fit into the age limit criteria which are-

1. For the post of Medical Officer GDMO (E-1), Dental (E-1), and Occupational Health (OH) (E-1) age limit of the applicant should be 34 years.
2. For the post of Medical Specialist (Biochemistry – Dental – ENT – Gynae. & Obst. – Medicine – Ophthalmology – Orthopedics – Psychiatry – Radiology – Surgery), Hospital Administrator, Public Health – MD, Medical Specialist Plastic Surgeon (Burn Unit), Medical Specialist the age limit of the applicant should be 41 years.
