Lockdown Extention in India, Red/Orange/Green Zone List
Coronavirus has become pandemic for everyone and that’s why the lockdown situation has occurred in front of us. After lockdown 2.0 now we are about to enter in extended lockdown 3.0 all over India which will remain till 17 May. While this extended lockdown is to control the coronavirus outbreak in the country, in this state has been divided into a traffic light situation where there will be red, green, and orange zone.

These zones will classify the situation of state every week in which all the states and Union Territories will be updating there red, green, and orange zones. These zones will be divided on the basis of the number of corona positive cases. In which red zone will cover 30 or more corona positive cases, orange will be marked for those districts which have 10 corona positive case and green zones are the safe zones where there is no corona positive case.

India has 28 states and 8 Union Territories and these all have 733 districts which will get divided into these three zones. With this zone division, there will be restrictions in every area. In the Red Zone area, all the services such as travel, interstate bus services, metro, local trains, interstate movement, and so on will remain prohibited across the country and only medical and security services with home delivery vegetables and dairy services will remain open.

In vehicles, four-wheelers with driver in the front seat and other one passengers on the back seat will be allowed and two-wheelers without pillion riders will be allowed in red zone areas. In Orange zone areas like red zone Four wheelers, including taxis, with one driver and two passengers will be allowed. Buses will not be allowed with that all the daily wages shops and services will remain open and everything else will be shut. In green zone areas, all the activities which are prohibited nationwide are not allowed even buses can operate with 50% of its capacity.

- In Andaman and Nicobar islands we have just one Red Zone district, zero Orange Zone districts, and two Green Zone districts at present.
- In Andhra Pradesh, we currently have five Red Zone districts, seven Orange Zone districts, and one Green Zone district at present.
- Arunachal Pradesh currently has zero Red Zone districts, zero Orange Zone districts, and 25 Green Zone districts.
- Assam currently has zero Red Zone districts, three Orange Zone districts, and 30 Green Zone districts.
- Bihar currently has five Red Zone districts, 20 Orange Zone districts, and 13 Green Zone districts.
- Chandigarh currently has one Red Zone district.
- Chhattisgarh currently has one Red Zone district, one Orange Zone district, and 25 Green Zone districts.
- Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu currently have zero Red Zone districts, zero Orange Zone districts, and three Green Zone districts.
- Delhi currently has 11 Red Zone districts, zero Orange Zone districts, and zero Green Zone districts.
- Goa currently has zero Red Zone districts, zero Orange Zone districts, and two Green Zone districts.
- Gujarat currently has nine Red Zone districts, 19 Orange Zone districts, and five Green Zone districts.
- Haryana currently has two Red Zone districts, 18 Orange Zone districts, and two Green Zone districts.
- Himachal Pradesh currently has zero Red Zone districts, six Orange Zone districts, and six Green Zone districts.
- Jammu and Kashmir currently have four Red Zone districts, 12 Orange Zone districts, and four Green Zone districts.
