Lockdown is going in the whole country due to the pandemic situation of coronavirus. We have already been in lockdown for more than 60 days and after clearing the lockdown 1 2 and 3rd successfully we are running in the 4th extended lockdown which is for 14 more days. Its been already three days that we are in this lockdown but the government has a lot of relaxation which needs to followed by some guidelines which are provided by the WHO and Central government combined. These guidelines have been provided to make sure of the social distancing in this pandemic situation and to start back the economic condition in the nation. Before this also a lot of government-provided some relaxation and guidelines on the bases of three main zones in this lockdown, but now the government has increased these guidelines to make sure of the better economic condition in the nation with social distancing.

This 4th extended lockdown was announced by the central government on Sunday to make sure to the stoppage of the outbreak of the coronavirus. In this lockdown with the center, a lot of states have also given some guidelines to make sure of the control of this outbreak. In this lockdown, the main challenge was handling economic conditions for a lot of states economically and that’s why a lot of states were also making a lot of moves against lockdown in recent meetings after which state and center both decided to continue with this lockdown extension with some guidelines. In this lockdown 5 zones have been divided by government which are –
- Red Zone
- Orange zone
- Green zone
- Contentment area
- Contentment operation

These all the zones have been applied to all the states and UT’s in their boundaries to control the outbreak. This zone has been made by the state government to divide the zones according to the outbreak condition in the respective areas. This divination guideline was given to states by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The total number of positive cases has already crossed 1 lakh people count in India, now the government is trying to control the outbreak by handling the economic condition of the state.
Every state has some other guideline to stop the control of this pandemic situation which are –
- In Maharastra, all the e-commerce activity for essential things will remain open and all other things will remain close in the red zones, and Buses will work in the green zone with 50% of its capacity. With that corporate offices has some permission to open in an emergency situation or with 33% of their staff Maintainance social distancing.
- Use of face mask and cover is mandatory while stepping out of the house
- This government is also saying to wash hands very frequently.
- Use of sanitization with 60% of alcohol-based sanitizer.
- Up government and Delhi, the government has started all industrial activities in non-containment zones while maintaining social distancing.
- In Gujrat Pan and Tea shops are allowed to function with maintaining 5 people one time at the shop with marinating 6 feet social distancing.
- Ola, Uber services have also started in which people are allowed in four vehicles with the capacity of 1+2 and in two-wheeler 2 people are allowed.
- Arogya Setu app has been made mandatory for all so check the status of their health and to track the health of nearby people.
- Shops in Delhi are open between 7 am to 7 pm with maintaining odd-even formula and by maintaining social distancing.
- Industrial firms are also allowed to work in states between 7:30 to 5:30 pm and while maintaining social distancing of at least 2 feet.
- DTC bus is allowed to function in Delhi with 50 % of its capacity and auto is allowed with 1+1 capacity.
- Barbershops are open in states from 7 am to 7 pm with 5 people at one time in the shop with maintaining 6 feet distance.
- In Punjab, no movement is allowed between 7 am to 7 pm in the whole of the state.
- Trains started working with an ac coach in most of the states including Punjab, up, Bihar.
- Aviation services will start from 25th May for domestic flights.
- Liquor shops are open between 7 am to 7 pm in most of the states.
