Age Limitations

  1. The applicant should be of age between 02/07/1996 to 01/01/2002 for SSC Observer and Pilot Post.
  2. The applicant needs to be of age between 02/07/1996 to 01/07/2000 for Education Branch Post.
  3. The applicant needs to be of age between 02/07/1996 to 01/01/2002 for All Other Post.

Educational Qualifications

  1. The applicant needs to be a citizen of India.
  2. Applicant must have a BE or B. Tech degree from any recognized university or board which is registered under the government of India for the post of Executive branch.
  3. Applicant must have a degree in Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Marine, Instrumentation, Production, Aeronautical, Industrial Engineering & Management, Control Engineering, Aero Space, Automobiles, Metallurgy, Mechatronics, and Instrumentation & Control from any recognized university or board which is registered under the government of India for the post of Technical Branch.
  4. Applicant must have an M.SC. Degree from any recognized university or board which is registered under the government of India for the post of Education branch.

Indian Navy Sailor, Officers and Other Recruitment 2024

NDA – National Defence Academy acts as the institution for the three main components which are the Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy, and Air Force Academy. In this institute, the joint training happens for 3 long years, after which candidates are sent to the pre-commissioning training academy of their choice. After this, the duration of the commissioning is of 1 year. This entry is for those boys who just cleared their 12th examination. For this entry, UPSC conducts examinations twice a year. In this entry, those boys who cleared their examination of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCM) with 70% aggregate can apply. In this entry, the applications will get selected based on an aggregate of 10+2 scores of the candidate. After this, the eligible candidate gets the call for the SSB. After the selection in SSB candidate needs to go for 4 years of training where they will also be awarded the degree of engineering. The main highlights of this entry are-

Indian Navy through CDSE Entry-

CDSE is commonly known as the Combined Defence Service Examination. This Combined Defence Service Examination is conducted by UPSC twice every year. This examination holds the recruitment procedure of the Indian Army, Navy, and Air Force. For the Indian Army, both men and women can make the application but for the Air force and Navy, only male candidates are allowed to do so. The candidates who are looking to join the Indian Navy need to give a written examination and after that SSB. Candidates can apply for many branches such as General Services, Executive, etc. For branches like Naval Architecture, both men and women are eligible.
