महत्वपूर्ण सूचना – केंद्रीय माध्यमिक शिक्षा बोर्ड ने फरवरी में होने वाली सीटेट परीक्षा में देरी कर दी है। हर बार सीबीएसई यह  परीक्षा फरवरी में करती थी, लेकिन इस बार बोर्ड ने इस परीक्षा को बाद में करवाया जा रहा है। जल्द ही इस परीक्षा के लिए ऑनलाइन रजिस्ट्रेशन शुरू कर दिए जाएंगे और उसके बाद परीक्षा ली जाएगी। दरअसल पहले बताया जा रहा था कि फरवरी में यह परीक्षा होगी और जनवरी में रजिस्ट्रेशन जारी किए जाएंगे। लेकिन ऐसा नहीं हुआ और इस मुद्दे पर सीटेट अधिकारियों ने बताया कि फरवरी में यह परीक्षा आयोजित नहीं की जाएगी।

Eligibility Criteria for CTET January 2024

Minimum Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classed VU-VIII:

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (By Whatever name known)

Or

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).

Or

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), under the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

OR

Senior Secondary (on its Equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years Bachelor in Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)

OR

Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4 years BA/BSc.Ed/B.sc.Ed.

OR

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1 year B.Ed. (Special Education)

Step 3. How to Pay CTET 2024 Application Fee Online:

• Now pay the Application Fee of Rs.600/- for General and Rs.300/ for SC/ST for Paper I and II, and Rs.1000/- for General and Rs.500/ for SC/ST for both Paper I and II.

Validity Period of CTET Certificate for CTET Application Form 2024

The validity period of the CTET qualifying certificate for appointment will be seven years from the date of declaration of its result for all categories. There is no restriction on the number of attempts a person can take for acquiring a CTET Certificate. A person who has qualified CTET may also appear again for improving his/her score.

CTET Qualifying Marks and Award of CTET Certificate: The Applicants appearing in CTET will be awarded a marks statement. The Applicants securing 60% and above marks will get the CTET eligibility certificate.

• School Managements may consider giving concessions to a person belonging to SC/ST, OBC differently-abled persons, etc following their extant reservation policy.
• Qualifying the CTET exam would not confer a right on any person for the recruitment/employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for the appointment.
