The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is a federal law enforcement agency in India and is one of the oldest Central Para Military Forces. It functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) of the Government of India. The CRPF is currently recruiting for the posts of Head Constable (Ministerial) and Assistant Sub-Inspector (Stenographer).
For the post of Head Constable (Ministerial), the eligible candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. They should also have a typing speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 words per minute in Hindi on a computer. Eligibility Criteria for Head Constable (HC Ministerial) post:

Exam Pattern and Syllabus 2024
Syllabus:
- General Intelligence: Questions on reasoning and analytical ability, relationship concepts, and similarities and differences.
- General Awareness: Questions on current events, history, culture, sports, and other general knowledge.
- Numerical Aptitude: Questions on arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
- English/Hindi Language: Questions on grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and language usage.
Exam Pattern:
- The written test will be an objective type test.
- The written test will consist of multiple-choice questions.
- The duration of the written test will be at the discretion of the CRPF.
- The written test will be conducted in both English and Hindi languages.
For the skill test (typing/shorthand) the pattern will be as per the post, the candidate applied for.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) will be of qualifying nature, the standard of which will be at the discretion of the CRPF.
The candidates who qualify in the written test and skill test will be called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination.
