This examination was got conducted in two main shifts which were from 10.30 am to 11.50 am and from 2.30 pm to 3.50 pm for four subjects namely Biology, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. In this examination, each subject consists of 60 marks in total. After this examination, the language examination which happened in the Kannada language was got conducted on 1st August. This KCET exam was conducted in 75 new centers across the state.

This time special arrangements were made for those students who were COVID-19 positive but were willing to appear in this CET examination. Special COVID-19 care centers were made in the different districts which had been identified by the Deputy Commissioners as the center where the exam was conducted for COVID19-positive students. This time Students coming from Containment zones had also been permitted to come out of the Containment zones showing their hall tickets along with parents.
