CBSE Compartment Online Application Form 2024 Date
Those candidates who are in the 12th class and have applied for the improvement of performance as regular candidates in the subjects for which examination was scheduled from 1st July to 15th July and their result has been declared as ‘NC’ in the subject concerned,” the official notification mentioned. The application process for this compartment examination has been started by CBSE and all those candidates who want to make their application can make it by 20th August. The examination fee for this compartment Recantation is 300 rs for each subject. Those candidates who want to make there an application for this examination can make it by official web portal which is www.cbse.nic.in. or they can ask the school also to do that. In that case, Schools shall have to submit LOC for Compartment Examination in respect of regular students, both for Class XII and Class X through e-Pariksha, www.cbse.nic.in. In this examination, only those students who appeared for the examination purposed to be conducted in September,” read the CBSE notification.
Minimum Required Percentage for Qualifying Examination
The motive behind this compartment exam is to provide another chance to clear the examination for those students who were not able to get passing marks in 1 or 2 subjects. To clear the examination a student needs to get 33% of the marks which is also known as passing marks.
Eligibility Criteria for Participating in CBSE Compartment Exam 2024
This compartment examination also has eligibility criteria in which one needs to get fit first before making the application process which is-
Eligibility for class 12th examination are-
- Regular candidates who appeared in February/March 2024 through schools affiliated to the Board and declared as COMPARTMENT are eligible to apply only in one subject which placed in the Compartment.
- Regular candidates who appeared in February/March 2024 through schools affiliated to the Board with 6 Subjects and placed in a compartment in two subjects shall appear in any one of the two subjects.
- Candidates who have appeared in 6 subjects in February/March 2024 and declared PASS but could not clear one subject can appear in that subject in the September 2024 Examination under the Improvement of the Performance category.
- Candidates who have been punished under Category 1 of UFM wherein their current examination of the subject has been canceled and they have been allowed to appear in the Compartment examination.

CBSE Compartment 2024 Exam Admit Card Last Date
