Indian Coast Guard Requirement For Assistant Commandant -2012
India Coast Guard (Ministry of Defence) invites application for various branch for the Assistant Commandant.
Name of post – Assistant Commandant
Branch and Eligibility:
1) General Duty
Educational Qualification: – Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of a university recognized by the Central/ State Govt. /UGC.
2) General Duty (i) Pilot (ii) Navigator or Observer
Educational Qualification: B.Sc with Maths & Physics with 60% marks in aggregate. (Physics or Maths should be one of the subjects in final year of B.Sc Degree).
3) Technical branch (Mechanical/Aeronautical/Electrical)
Educational Qualification: (i) Engineering degree with 60% marks in aggregate in Naval architecture / Mechanical/ Marine/Design/ Production /Aeronautical/ Automotive / Industrial and Production/ Aeronautical/ Instrumentation and Control/ Electrical/ Electronics and
Tele Communication and recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
4) Pilots (Helicopter and fixed wing) Commercial Pilot License holders
Educational Qualification: 12th class passes with 60% marks and should possess current / valid
Commercial Pilot license (CPL) approved by DGCA on the date of Preliminary Selection
5) General Duty(Women)
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree with minimum 60% marks in aggregate of a
University recognized by the Central/ State Govt./UGC. Should have qualified 12th standard with aggregate of 60% marks in Physics and Maths.
